Key news for overseas candidates visiting Argyll-Ruane Ltd        back
The British Government has established that all overseas visitors (outside of the EU) coming to the UK to attend training/ certification programmes who therefore require visas need to establish that the centres of training/ certification hold relevant ‘approvals’ by agencies acting on behalf of the British Government. Argyll-Ruane is Accredited by the BRITISH ACCREDITATION COUNCIL/ BRITISH INSTITUTE OF NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING effective from April 2009 to April 2013 following extensive audits by both named bodies.

Candidates wishing to attend Argyll-Ruane for Non-Destructive Testing/ Inspection training/ certification affected by the ‘visa rules’ should continue to apply for places (short/ long term programmes up to a duration of 6 months) via our selection of programmes offered and by making a formal request through e-mail, telephone or telefax, to our Course Director David Betts. Email enquiries@ruanetpo.com, telephone +44(0)1709 560459 or telefax +44(0)1709 557705.

Argyll-Ruane will then following our procedures be able to provide the candidate at the appropriate point in time an ‘offer/ joining’ letter meeting BAC criteria and a copy of our approval certificate to enable application for a visa to visit the UK to undertake the programme.
