Metascop, Pre-Approval
Course Code: RTO/M Duration: 2 or 3 days
Description
These courses are suitable for candidates with or without experience in the use of a Metascope. The Mrtascop is an ideal instrument for the identification of materials either pre-construction, during construction, or checking the material in completed fabrications on-site. The Metascop is a practical tool, and the courses have a high hands-on content. Wherever possible the courses will be tailored to suit the particular requirements of the course participants. The courses contain comprehensive theoretical and practical sessions relating to alloys associated with power generation plant. Course candidates may wish to undertake an examination which meets with power company on-site requirements. This is conducted by the Northern Test Centre on the last day of the course or at a later mutually agreed date.
