Pipeline Agricultural/Environmental Inspector -  
Description
This course is designed for experienced pipeline inspectors or individuals with a knowledge of pipelines.
The main aim of the course is to provide all the information required for candidates to go on to attempt the Agricultural/Environmental Inspector examination available under the BGAS-CSWIP scheme.
The course content is largely theoretical but all relevant practical subject areas are dealt with such as land management and map reading in relation to pre-entries.

Candidates attending this course must have some knowledge of pipeline construction.

- Reportable diseases
- Field drainage - principles; types of system, drain types
- Farm/pipeline fencing
- Topsoil strip
- Excavation and drain making
- Backfill
- Civilisation and ripping
- Reinstatement
- Key environmental issues.
- Reporting
