Description
This course is approved by the Institute of Corrosion (UK) and is designed to prepare ICorr Level 1 Painting Inspectors for the Level 2 examination. Any information in the syllabus below, which is repeated from the Level 1 syllabus, is dealt with in greater depth and in some cases involves practical usage of equipment, eg use of density cups, flow cups, contamination testing and using electromagnetic d.f.t. instruments with statistical capabilities.

(1) The course content is largely theoretical but involves hands on experience with relevant inspection equipment.
(2) This course covers general information suitable for BGAS-CSWIP certification routes but does not give specific British Gas/Transco detail.
