This one day course is approved by the Institute of Corrosion (UK) and allows ICorr certificated Pipeline Coatings Inspectors to extend their qualification for a further five years without examination providing that an examination (or transition) was successfully completed within the last five years.
The course is designed to review the information applicable to the Pipeline Coatings Inspector syllabus at all levels and gives update information on standards, technical developments and trends.

- The ICorr certification scheme
- Changes to normative documents
- (primarily ISO, EN and BSI standards)
- Any new pipeline coating materials introduced
- Any new pipeline coating application procedures

Pre-requisites for attending this course
Current ICorr certification in Pipeline Coatings Inspection.
Examination Booking
Not directly applicable, but attendance of this course does not automatically renew your existing certification. Each candidate will be required to complete a Recertification Application Form which are available from the ICorr Test Centre.

(1) All course notes and handouts are issued which apply to the 3 day Pipeline Coatings course and the 5 day Painting Inspector Level 1 course.
(2) This course satisfies the requirements of ICORR REQ DOC.
