A two day course designed for personnel who have previously attended a welding inspectors course. This course allows the candidiate to concentrate on weak areas. This course is suitable for personnel preparing for the PCN Level 2 or Level 3 Weld Inspector or CSWIP welding inspector/senior inspector 10 year renewal examinations.
Course content- Session on queries regarding general theory
- Weld identification
- Defect identification
- Measurement of welds and defects
- Use of weld gauges
- Practical welding inspection
- Radiographic intepretation (self revision) if required
- Session on queries regarding examinations

(1) This course is not suitable for candidates who have not undertaken a full PCN Weld Inspector Level 2 or Weld Inspector Level 3 or CSWIP Welding/Senior Welding Inspector approved courses in preparation for a PCN or CSWIP examination..
(2) It can be used as formal training for the ten year renewal procedure for PCN Level 2 or Level 3 Weld Inspector or CSWIP Welding/Senior Welding Inspectors.
