Ultrasonic TOFD Welds Pre-Approval. -
Description
This course provides detailed information on the inspection of Ferritic steel welds by the Ultrasonic Time of Flight method. This course is suitable for personnel with existing UT Certification in Welds.
This course is recognised by PCN and provides excellent preparation for the level 1 & 2 examinations. It meets in full the training hour requirements as specified by the relevant PCN documentation.
Course content:
PCN qualification is required with a current valid UT Welds certificate by PCN or another recognised body by BINDT. Attempting a PCN examination the requirements of PCN / GEN must be met. If attempting an ASNT, EN 4179 / NAS 410 examination the requirements of your company's written practice must be met.
